In honor of Hussein ALOUDAT
A special seminar has been organized by SIHR, Geneva 15-16 May 2016, in honor of Hussein ALOUDAT, a great symbol of the defense of democracy and civil resistance in Syria and the region, in presence of many intellectuals and researchers, (U.S.A, Kuwait, Syria, Germany, France and Lebanon).
Dr. Haytham Manna inaugurated the seminar by a minute of silence for the soul of the deceased and the souls of the martyrs. Then, the Attendees conducted interventions dealt with the history of struggle of the deceased, and in-depth discussions on topics that were selected for the seminar.
The program:
The First Day:
- A speech in honor of the deceased.
- Political rationality in crisis.
- Could we think positively for a bright future?
- Is there any progressive dimensional alternatives?
- Hussein ALOUDAT, A symbol of peaceful civil resistance.
The Second Day:
- The role of the International Committee of the Red Cross as a neutral mediator in the Syrian issue.
